Structural Engineer who will be involved assessing the structural impact of tenant combinations on buildings, tower structures, and foundations, analyzing project goals, performing structural calculations, and modifying high-complexity projects using manual calculations, and software (such as RISA, TnxTower, O-Calc, Auto CAD) and reviewing construction drawings. Must have master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Civil Engineering, or related technical field in above job duties required. Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering or a related field required.
• Engineer in training ("EIT") or Engineering Intern ("EI") certification preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry
• 1+ years of experience in the field of engineering
• 1+ years of experience with AutoCAD required
• Prior experience with 2D and 3D preferred
• Must have a working knowledge of structural analysis software and tower structures and design methods.
• Must have a working knowledge of proper steel detailing
• Must have a working knowledge of structural components and design methods.
• Customer Service - Responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve partnership
• Ability to work with functional groups and different level of employees throughout the MasTec Network Solutions organization to effectively and professionally achieve business results.
• Ability to develop and produce structural modification drawings and be accurate and detail oriented.
• Proficient in computer software programs, including AutoCAD and the Microsoft office suites
• Communication Skills - Excellent communication skills; speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; demonstrates group presentation skills
• Planning/Organizing - Excellent time management; organizational; plans work activities; sets goals and objectives; develops realistic action plans; completes
• Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; keeps commitments
• Must have the ability and be willing to travel, as required, for job related functions
