What You'll Be Doing...

As the Sr. Manager - New Store Pipeline Strategy & Mgmt. within the Total by Verizon Exclusive Retailer team, a part of the VCG Value Organization, you will be directly responsible for leading the new distribution funnel, including both strategy & execution, to enable growth at record-breaking sustained volumes and speed to market. You will drive the strategy for process and partnership improvements that drive a heavy volume of new store openings at record speed, while you lead a team that concierges new store openings through the process from site approval to opening. This team will work very closely with the Client Relations team and will require a high degree of collaboration across Master Agent and vendor leadership, as well as other key support organizations, with responsibilities to include:

Responsibilities:

  • Own new distribution funnel output, including health, forecasting, driving output, and direct accountability for driving the opening of 1000+ new Total by Verizon locations in 2024.

  • Create business plans and strategy to drive committed new store openings by month.

  • Build new and nurture existing relationships with Master Agent C-level executives to create development strategies to enable door growth and attainment of the respective Master Agent targets.

  • Ingest multiple data sources to leverage performance metrics to develop strategies and drive decision making on new distribution prioritization.

  • Set the strategy and lead a team executing on all stages of the new distribution funnel, creating internal process optimization to maximize new store openings and speed to market.

  • Develop new strategies in partnership with Master Agents principals to accelerate proposed locations through the distribution funnel, improving unperforming speed to market with Master Agents and delivering increased gross adds.

  • Drive accountability of new store opening SLAs with both Master Agents and key vendors who support various aspects of new store builds.

  • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to a team reporting to you who are responsible for execution of distribution growth.

  • Develop, enhance, and execute on technology to enhance seamless new store opening flows.

Hybrid Model:

You'll need to have...

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience

  • Experience with indirect channel, sales and distribution strategy, and/or account management.

  • Willingness to travel, approximately up to 25% or less.

Even Better If You Have:

  • An MBA, or an M.S. in related fields

  • Two or more years of Indirect channel experience, including new store openings

  • Exceptional PP/Google Slide creation for executive presentations

  • Understanding of organizational objectives, functions, and motivations.

  • Understanding of key financial concepts relevant to Verizon business performance.

  • Demonstrate ability to work with, understand, and manage analytics data and reporting tools

  • Project management experience.

  • 8+ years of experience supporting sales channels or similar experience.

  • Strong relationship management skills.

  • Ability to solve complex problems creatively.

  • Ability to prioritize and execute effectively.

  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.

  • Managed complex projects with cross-functional teams and aligned groups to a common goal.

  • Experience with Strategic initiatives with data driven outcomes.
