NOW HIRING: Team Captain - Mechandise

Responsible for generating revenue by conducting sales transactions, leading and training team members, ensuring guest service standards are met and operational readiness of indoor and open-air locations throughout Universal Orlando property and other company owned or leased venues.

Qualified candidates will:

  • Assist in the management of consistent execution of guest service and operational standards. Ensure that team members are wardrobe compliant.
  • Manage and maintain all facets of daily operation of the location. Assign tasks and monitor performance of team members to ensure policies and procedures of the department are followed.
  • Enforce established safety practices and quality standards are maintained.
  • Perform all operational duties related to the daily opening and closing of locations to include but not limited to issuing starting banks, providing change, performing audits and completing the end of day process.
  • Train and coach team members, explain performance and behavioral expectations, provide feedback and recognition. Conduct shift meetings and provide daily sales goals in support of the revenue plan.
  • Report behavior requiring discipline and documentation to the management team.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

Qualified Candidates must have:

  • High school degree or GED
  • 1-3 Years prior experience in a restaurant unit or equivalent combination of education and experience
