Customer Service Rep/Quality Assurance Reviewer The Delmarva Foundation provides a Quality Management Program for the State's Developmental Disabilities Service System. The objective is to implement strategies to assure the health and welfare and to improve the quality of life for Florida's citizens with developmental disabilities. Delmarva is a highly successful and rapidly growing not-for-profit company with a passion for excellence and over 35 years of experience in health and human services. We are currently seeking a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) customer-focused, qualified and committed individual to work with us in a dual-role in meeting our mission in our Tampa, Florida location. Responsibilities: In the Customer Service capacity, deals with Medicaid providers and recipients via telephone, written, and community appearences. Educate Medicaid providers/recipients regarding scope and rationale of waiver and quality assurance process. Resolve complaints from providers or refer to appropriate supervisor; prepare and maintain logs and quarterly reports. In a Quality Assurance Reviewer capacity, will conduct person-centered reviews and provide performance reviews statewide. Performing the daily functions of the review process, determine if person-centered goals are being met, health and safety issues are being addressed and services are both adequate and appropriate. Evaluate whether providers are meeting the needs of consumers, complying with State regulations and guidelines and are providing services efficiently and effectively. This position will routinely interact with consumers, providers and regional staff. 40 % travel will be required. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in social sciences, human services, or therapy services (PT, OT, SP) and have at least five years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities. Must be proficient in the use of computers and software applications, and have knowledge of FSQAP and flddresources.org webites to assits users in navigation. Must be able to work independently and communicate effectively. Bilingual, Spanish required. | |
