Candidate will support a wide range of IT administration and engineering services across USSOCOM to include but not limited to: * Administration of Microsoft Exchange 2003 Environment in a high availability configuration that utilizes Symantec Veritas Clustering solution * Management of USSOCOMs (SOCRATES) Active Directory environment supporting approximately 5,000 users. * Resolve Trouble Tickets escalated through the Remedy ticketing system * Manage the backup infrastructure using NetBackup(6.5.4) for approximately 100+ systems globally * Manage and maintain SOCRATES Storage platforms to include Data Domain and NetApp totaling approximately 1PB Will also be responsible for conducting server builds and implementation for new equipment or Life Cycle replacements; applying security through DISA 'stigs' to include but not limited to correcting Information Assurance scans, provide admin support to USSOCOM's Citrix thin client infrastructure Qualifications This position requires a current VERY HIGH LEVEL US Government security clearance (no poly required). Candidates selected for this position will be subject to a background investigation, therefore US Citizenship is required. Must have 5 years direct experience in supporting Windows Server Active Directory environment. Must have direct working experience in a homogenous storage environment to include storage area networks (SAN), network attached storage (NAS), JBOD, etc. Experience with NetBackup required Working knowledge of Veritas Software Foundation for Windows (VSFW) is desired, working knowledge of de-duplication technology, specifically Data Domain highly desired.
